How do I know Norton VPN is working?
How do I know Norton VPN is working?
How would I know that my VPN is working fine or not?
I have been trying to solve a problem with the VPN. I have sent a couple of messages via your internet site, engaged in a ‘chat’, turned the computer off and on numerous times and uninstalled/reinstalled both the VPN and the Internet Security programmes so many times my head is spinning.
The problem is explained below:
- When I start the computer the VPN logo shows itself at the bottom right of the screen …. as it should.
- The programme then starts to connect (although it has just stopped doing that now) and attaches a green tick to the logo … very good.
- A screen then opens up like the one I used to get with a double click on the bottom right logo, but it gives a message saying:
INTERNAL ERROR
We were unable to verify your subscription due to an internal error.
Contact Support for assistance.
My subscription status is … ‘Automatic Renewal’ and if I sign-in and check the status it confirms that both Internet Security and VPN are ‘Active’
The VPN Key is: JX2XXXXXXXXXXXX
Ser No: XRXXXXXXXXXX
Since I can’t be certain whether or not I have an operational VPN, can you rectify this problem so I get the dialogue box that should come up showing the On/Off sliders?
Connect a country and search anything on Google and check on the result page, at the end of the page you’ll see the country connected to.
