Norton auto renewal is too expensive, Can I buy Norton instead of renewing?
Norton auto renewal is too expensive, Can I buy Norton instead of renewing?
This is the most common question in Norton subscription cancellation. Norton auto-renewal has charged £89.99 and the new subscriptions are available from £18 to £49. Norton antivirus or Norton 360 standard / deluxe /premium are canceled by most of the customers due to this reason only.
Of course, you can buy a new subscription instead of renewing. We all know that Norton’s auto-renewal service is extremely not satisfying for anyone but buying a fresh service can be a good deal. Even I do the same by disabling my auto-renewal service. You can buy from BestBuy.com, Currys, Norton, Argos, Amazon, eBay, or G2A are the best places.
Norton renewal system is absolutely pathetic, I haven’t seen anywhere such kind of expensive renewals. I don’t recommend people to buy NortonLifeLock’s any products.
I couldn’t get an answer that why such big companies do such kinds of stupid things, why don’t they think about the customer loyalty programs. When a customer decides to keep continue with the company they should be rewarded as loyalty discounts but these companies do the opposite. 🙁
Norton’s renewal process is really worst. I did the same, I don’t think that renewal is worthwhile. I would suggest to buy again from an other email address.
Norton is obviously expensive especially for returning customers, their auto-renewal service is too costly. I have requested the Norton customer service refund team to return my money and wish to go for Kaspersky which is much cheaper and secured too.
Norton services and security are really good but they charge very high compared to others but if you are using it properly, it wouldn’t cost you much. And people who are using it must be aware of Norton’s marketing plan, initially, they provide cheaper (for newbies) subscription plans and renewals are higher.
Yes, you should purchase a new subscription instead of a renewal. Not a good option to renew Norton automatically.
Norton has taken £89.99 from my debit card, this is pathetic. No one is listening to my complaints in Norton customer service department.
I have also canceled my subscription and taken a new subscription, but I can’t use my old id. This is really ridiculous to face such an issue, I mean how can you charge more to your regular customers? Norton should encourage its existing customers for auto-renewal but by doing this it ruins all. Norton must provide some discount and promotional offers to its loyal regular customers.
This is absolutely not acceptable that a new user can get it much cheaper than your loyal customers. My renewal was also £85 and there was no any intimation before renewal. Symantec should notice this issue.
