METHOD:-1 close conflicting programs

If you get a runtime error, remember that it is caused by applications that are incompatible with one another. Stopping these competing programs is the first step in resolving the issue.

  • By pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del at the same moment, Task Manager will display a list of currently running programs.
  • Now, Go to the Processes tab and, one by one, stop the programs by selecting and hitting the End Process
  • You can proceed to the next troubleshooting step, reinstalling the application, once you’ve identified which Program is generating the error.

METHOD:- 2 Conflicting program should be updated or reinstalled.

How to Use the Control Panel

  • To uninstall software in Windows 7, go to the Start button, then Control Panel, then Uninstall a program.
  • For Windows 8, go to Start and then select More Settings then go to Control panel and Uninstall a program
  • Click Update or Uninstall on the problem program once you’ve entered Programs and Features.
  • If you opted to update, simply follow the instruction to complete the process. If you selected to remove Program, simply follow the prompts to uninstall and then re-download or reinstall the Program using installation CD/DVD.

Other Methods

  • When you click on Start and scroll your cursor over the list that appears on the tab in Windows 7, you’ll see a list of all installed programs. On that list, you may see a utility for uninstalling the Program. You can use the utilities in this tab to uninstall the Program.
  • To access Apps on Windows 10, go to Start, Settings, and then Apps.
  • To see the list of Apps installed on your computer, scroll down.
  • You can either delete or reset the application by clicking Advanced options after selecting the Program that is producing the runtime problem.

METHOD:- 3  Update your antivirus software or download and install the most recent Windows Update.

Make sure your virus application is up to date and that you do a comprehensive scan of your computer or run Windows update to receive the most up-to-date virus definitions and fixes.

METHOD:- 4 Install the Runtime Libraries again.

The error could be caused by an update, such as the MS Visual C++ package, which may not have been installed properly or entirely. Then you can remove the current package and replace it with a new one.

  • Go to Programs and Features, find the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package, and uninstall it.
  • Reboot your computer after clicking Uninstall at the top of the list.
  • Microsoft’s most recent redistributable package can be downloaded and installed.

METHOD 5:- Clean Up Your Hard Drive.

You may be seeing a runtime error due to a lack of available disc space on your machine.

  • Back up your files and clear some space on your hard drive.
  • You can also restart your computer after clearing your cache.
  • You may also use Disk Cleanup, then right-click your primary directory in Explorer (this is usually C: )
  • Then select Disk Cleanup from the drop-down menu under Properties.

METHOD 6:- Install the Graphics Driver Again

If a graphics driver causes the problem, try the following:

  • Locate the graphics driver in your Device Manager.
  • Uninstall the video card driver by right-clicking it, then restarting your computer.

METHOD7:- Runtime Error in Internet Explorer

If Internet Explorer causes the problem, you can fix it by doing the following:

Restart your internet browser.

  • If you’re using Windows 7, go to Start, Control Panel, and Internet Options on the left side. Then go to the Advanced tab and press the Reset button.
  • For Windows 8 and 10, put Internet Options into the search box, then select the Advanced tab and click Reset.

Script debugging and error messages are disabled.

  • Go to the Advanced tab in the same Internet Options window and seek Disable script debugging.
  • Mark the radio button with a checkmark.

Uncheck the “Display a Notification about every Script Error” item simultaneously, then click Apply and OK, then restart your computer.
